SACRED has adopted Imagine Canada's Ethical Fundraising and Financial Accountability Code as its policy. That means that we commit to fundraising practices that respect donors’ rights to truthful information and to privacy. We also commit to manage responsibly the funds that donors entrust to us and to report our financial affairs accurately and completely.
- In February 2008, SACRED was provided with funds from the Livia Stoyke Foundation to support SACRED's Expressive Arts Program!
- In December 2007, SACRED was awarded a Community Public Art grant from the City of Edmonton through the Edmonton Arts Council for a project titled, "Voices from Darkness Moving Into Light." Stay posted for further details!
- In October 2007, SACRED received a grant from the Edmonton Cultural Capital Project for a collaborative and innovative art project. Stay posted for details.
- In September 2007, SACRED received a grant from the Kinette Club of Edmonton to support SACRED's work.
- In June 2007, SACRED received a grant from the Telus Community Foundation to expand the mentorship aspect of the Eating Disorders Recovery Day Program.
- In May 2007, SACRED was awarded a City of Edmonton Community Investment Operating Grant for $13,386 for the 2007-08 year.
- In March 2007, SACRED received a Community Initiatives Program Grant from the Alberta Lottery Fund for $34,000 for the operation of our Eating Disorders Recovery Day Program.
- In March 2007, the Livia Stoyke Foundation sponsored the art therapy component of SACRED's Recovery Day Program. This has permitted one of SACRED's practicum student's studying art therapy to buy $1,000 worth of materials to use in working with participants.
- That Edmonton Community Foundation, Alberta Lottery Fund Community Initiatives Program and Telus provided the funding for SACRED's first Executive Director and associated costs.
